Gardening and Oils

I have been waiting for MONTHS to talk to you about gardening.  As soon as the temps started to rise here in Florida, I was itching to start my garden back up.  I know plenty of people enjoy seasons, but I find any temperature lower than 60 degrees offensive, lol.

Without waiting any longer...let's dive into gardening with oils.

So you’re a gardener...or maybe a startup gardener! Wherever you land, there are some basic things that seem to apply to everyone during the stages of their gardening journey.
Things like weeds, pests, and bad harvests show up in every garden, every year. But this class is going to be your ticket to tackling even the hardest of seasons. You’ll have tricks up your sleeve that will help you succeed from the day the seed goes into the ground until the day you harvest it.
Using essential oils in the gardening process helps us garden in a way that results in fruits and veggies that have been lovingly cared for in the most organic way. You can even achieve that affordably, sustainably, and without the use of harsh chemicals, friend!

All Things Thieves

Health and wellness is on the rise but many products that are being advertised as “safe” and “all-natural”, are anything but.  The packages are pretty and the labels are clever, but the more you dig, the more you find out. Let me help you decide what’s truly safe and give you the tools you need to start making simple swaps for a healthier home.

The American Lung Association explains how many common household cleaning products can lead to health problems like eye and throat irritation, headaches, respiratory issues, allergic reactions, worsened asthma, and possibly even cancer! Yuck!! We don’t want that.

DIY Perfuming Basics

Did you know that wearing perfume or cologne is a confidence booster?! People say they feel more confident when they have a killer scent on. Some people even feel ‘naked’ when they forget to put it on during their daily routine. Whether you're a daily wearer or you only apply for special occasions, we all know the power of smell.  They can transport us thru time and space to grandma's kitchen, or a sweet childhood memory out in nature with friends or family.  They can also leave a lasting impression of US on others.  The smell of your tantalizing perfume will linger in their mind.....

Unfortunately, cosmetic fragrances, body sprays, lotions, and perfumes are not all they are cracked up to be.

Yep.... there are toxic chemical synthetics lurking in there too. Cancer
is not sexy. Disrupted hormones...not sexy. Infertility. Not sexy. So how can you smell like a goddess safely?!

I've got your back, once again.

Creating a Cozy Atmosphere

When preparing your home for the holidays, it’s important to set the mood and create an atmosphere that feels “homey” and inviting for your guests and your family. Don’t grab the typical sprays and plug-ins you find in the stores. So many are filled with absolute junk you do not want floating around the air. The same rings true for most household cleaners.

CBD

CBD
If you're ready to ditch coping mechanisms that leave you feeling numb, zoned out, or worse than you did when you started them, reach for the CBD Drops or CBD Roll-on and find a way to physically process the emotions. Don't push them away or stuff them. Allow yourself to feel them, apply CBD, and move your body to release stored emotions. Walk, swim, jog, dance, just move! This movement paired with CBD can help you process whereas buffering with a coping mechanism cannot.

Amber and I were just talking about what we can do to support students and teachers as we all go back to school.  My kids go back to school on Wednesday this week, so I’m gathering our whole arsenal of back-to-school products, oils, procedures, and getting everything set up asap.  I thought who better to talk to than my favorite oily teacher about all this!  I hope you enjoy this little chat with Amber as much as I did.

If you need to grab some oils to get ready for school and you need Amber to hook you up, order here and you won’t regret it! She’ll be in touch shortly after your order processes!

If you want to see everything that comes in the perfect starter kit, check out this post. This is the easiest way to jump into using essential oils!

STRESS, SLEEP, AND SADNESS…OH MY!

I thought May would be the perfect month to chat about emotions! We have a lot going on in our home this month…my husband is deploying (BOO), my first product is launching on Amazon (YAY), and the kids are going through tons of transitions (SIGH) so I’m getting ahead of all the feels but making sure we have solid routines in place. If you have found yourself in the vicious occasional stress/low sleep cycle or you have a lot coming up this month too, then read on friend!

OILY HOME MAKEOVER, PART 1

Our homes should be a place where we feel safe, a place where we can go to take refuge from the world around us. The products we bring into our homes should not threaten that safety, but sadly, some of them do. Today, we’re going to walk through each room in your home, discovering what needs to go and what can be used as a safe replacement.

I can’t wait to share some ways to help you safeguard your home. So many products are marketed to us as safe, but are actually much more harmful than we think.
